1) Where we ship

We currently ship across India. International shipping is not enabled by default. If you need an international delivery, write to us and we’ll try to assist with a custom quote.

2) Order processing

  • Orders are typically packed within 1–2 business days (Mon–Sat, excluding public holidays).

  • Many of our sketchbooks are hand-finished; during peak drops or sales, processing may take an extra 1–2 days.

3) Delivery timelines (indicative)

  • Metros & Tier-1 cities: ~2–5 business days after dispatch

  • Non-metros & remote locations: ~3–7 business days after dispatch
    These are estimates provided by courier partners. Weather, strikes, festivals, or operational constraints can add time.

4) Shipping fees & offers

  • The final shipping fee is shown at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.

  • If a free-shipping or flat-rate offer is active, it will apply automatically when your cart qualifies.

  • Any Cash on Delivery (COD), if enabled, may carry an additional fee disclosed at checkout.

5) Packaging

Sketchbooks are shipped in rigid protective packaging (sturdy boards/boxes, corner protection, and moisture barrier) designed to minimise transit damage.

6) Tracking & delivery attempts

  • You’ll receive a tracking link via email/SMS/WhatsApp once the order is dispatched.

  • Couriers usually make up to 2–3 delivery attempts. If delivery fails and the parcel returns to us (RTO), we can reship after collecting the actual return + reship charges.

7) Address changes & incorrect addresses

  • Address changes are possible only before dispatch. Contact us immediately with your order number.

  • We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect or incomplete addresses, unavailable recipients, or unreachable phone numbers.

8) Damaged or tampered parcels

  • If your package appears tampered or damaged, please refuse delivery or record an unboxing video and photos before opening.

  • Report issues within 48 hours of delivery to hi@alekhyam.com with your order number, photos, and the unboxing video. We’ll investigate with the courier and offer a resolution where applicable.

9) Missing items or wrong product received

  • Report within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the box, inner packaging, and received items. Once validated, we will arrange a suitable remedy (replacement/missing item reshipment/credit), subject to stock availability.

10) Delays outside our control

Once an order is handed to the courier, delays may occur due to regional restrictions, weather, or network constraints. We’ll coordinate with our partners to expedite, but timelines are not guaranteed.

11) Multiple-address orders

We can ship to one address per order. For multiple addresses, please place separate orders.

12) Pre-orders & bulk orders

Pre-order items ship on or after the announced dispatch window. Bulk/wholesale quantities may need additional processing time; we’ll confirm timelines by email.

13) Proof of delivery

Couriers may capture OTP/e-sign/photo as proof. If a shipment shows “Delivered” but you have not received it, contact us within 48 hours so we can raise a case with the courier.
